The SharePoint 2010 Admin Pack is a growing collection of administrative tools for SharePoint 2010. Currently, it has
- Workflow Manager which allows you to view all workflows and where they’re associated and running throughout your site collection.
- Workflow Organizer which allows you to specify the firing order of your workflows on a list.
- Site Columns which displays all site columns including a method to find site content types which are using the column.
- Server Name simply displays the current server you’re running on, helpful when working with network load balancing.
SharePoint 2007 used to have a type of Site Called Site Directory which provided a directory of all sites that had been created. In SharePoint 2010, this feature has been dropped. This solution has been developed to fill the gap in SharePoint 2010. The solution follows the same basic principle of the Site Directory in SharePoint 2007 but adds some commonly requested features.
